With time our team has discovered a set of advanced techniques for Bubble League from Discord which is hard to execute but they can give your team a huge advantage. Those are not easy things and to master them you have to train, so be aware.
The Rat Power
As a past Dota 2 player I have developed a skill of a light-speed reaction which I successfully utilize in Bubble League. Some powers like Wall or Booster can be put on the field at any time during the turn. If you put them early the opponent obviously will change his strategy accordingly. So, if you wanna surprise your opponent you have to put your power in the last second. Sometimes it can completely change the game. For example in case the ball is near the goal of your opponent and there is no player to finish the deal. If you put a wall in the last second in front of the ball your opponent will kick the ball and it will jump back in his goal. A very dirty but effective strategy.
The hardest last-second power is Boost because you don’t only have to put it. but also you have to turn it inappropriately. If you will do it not in the last second, the Boost will lose 90% of its value cause now everyone can predict the trajectory and protect gates.
If you are about to master 1 skill in Bubble League, let it be Last Second Powers, this one is the most powerful.
Sneaky Boost
Booster is imba. It is literally the strongest power in the game in the hand of a professional. Each booster is a score, if you know how to use and Last Second Power is not enough to master the Booster.
It is very important to make sure that there are no enemies on the way of the ball when it is getting expedited using Booster. And it is barely a case. Boxes are getting spawned every second turn so ideally you have only 2 turns to utilize Booster and you can’t wait for the perfect moment without enemies, it may never come. So sometimes you have to combine the Wall with the goal and make the ball jump off the wall and get directly into the goal. Wall scores by itself is a hard skill to master and it gives you a great advantage but together with Booster, you gonna be unstoppable. Wherever you are on the field, if you can calculate the trajectory of the ball after hitting the wall, you just use your Booster and score.
Block-attack
Block is intended to be used as a protection power, but it also has great attacking potential. Imagine that you are located near the opponent's bumper and the only way for you to score is to make a pass to someone else through the bumper. But all of your players are blocked. In this case, you can position the block in the trajectory of the ball and make it be angled in a way, to make the ball goes right into the goal after the jumper. Throughout my whole Bubble League career I made this trick only once, but it was pretty sweet. It is hard to predict where the ball will go after the jumper and it is harder to put Wall with the right angle.
Dejavu Bumper
Sometimes when the situation looks desperate bumper can be your last chance in defending the goal. The thing is that bumper makes you move quicker and sometimes it is the only way to get in time to the goal, especially if you are located near the bumper.
I remember a dozen times when there was a direct ball going in my gates and I am flying at high speed from the bumper and protecting the game. It is not only a powerful technique for protection but also a huge mental burden on the opposite team. When someone believes in the score and then it got protected using Bumper defense, it is minus morale on the whole game.
This is especially relevant when you have the Big Bumper power, in this case, you can not only protect your goal but score yourself. Which is very hard, but possible if you master the wall trajectory.
Time Freeze
Usually, Sticky Goo is used for protection, but it is an excellent offense tool. I bet you had a situation where your ball is near the opponent's goal but there is no player to make a score. In this case you can put the Sticky Goo near the ball and direct all your players in the Goo. It will guarantee that the ball will not go anywhere during the turn and that you will have all your players right near the ball to make a score.
Just be aware of the double force mechanic of a Sticky Goo. When the player or a ball got hit 2 times inside the Sticky Goo, the object of force will start ignoring the Sticky Goo and will just go through. It is a very tricky mechanic, just be aware of it.
